You can't read them in this image of it, but the banners on this City Lights Bookstore postcard say: Dissent ... Is ... Not ... Un ... American.When I bought it during my visit to San Francisco a couple of weeks ago, I was tempted to say to the cashier, "I'm glad you found time to make this postcard during the Bush years, when this slogan was still true. Otherwise, it would never have been made." But I didn't think he would have known what I meant.
At least they are continuing to sell the card. I commend them for that.
