OT - this sounds truly Orwellian - first I have heard of it. A senate bill that would give Obama the power to cut off private networks on the Internet in the event of an 'emergency'?

That is weird. Given that businesses rely on the internet so much, wouldn't that cause immediate and severe economic disruption?
I think it would. It also seems like an extreme overreach of government power.
