Follow Me!

I've added a gizmo on the sidebar to the left that enables you, with a mere left-click, to "follow" this blog. If you are a blogger at blogger.com, this means that when you check in at your dashboard you will see the header of my most recent post. I've found this a handy way to keep up with blogs that aren't updated every day (like this one!).

I apologize for this being off topic but i was wondering what your opinion on this is. Also, I am curious when the Great Philosophers Nietzsche course will be offered again here at madison. I am hoping to be able to take it before i finish my coursework here. Thank you

All I can say is that there must be some way in which the insanely unjust "zero tolerance" policy makes the jobs of the people who work in government schools easier to do. That's the only explanation that makes any sense. But what an awful way to introduce young people to life in civilized society! I can't think of a more eloquent way to say "we own you -- and we can do anything we want with our property."

As for the Nietzsche course, I won't be giving it for another couple of years at least, but my colleague Ivan Soll will probably be offering it sooner.
